- Open the portfolio builder (also My Portfolio in your account menu).
- Choose your resume — or several (up to 4), for example your main resume plus a list of projects.
- Add pictures (optional): screenshots of your work, project photos or a headshot. Your first 3 are included. No pictures? Describe one and the AI image generator makes it (2 credits each).
- Pick your web address (aidmycv.com/p/your-name), a color, and what to show: email, phone, city, LinkedIn and an optional "Download my résumé" button.
- Click Build my portfolio. It's live in about a minute.
What it costs
- Building uses 2–5 credits: 2 for most resumes, +1 for a long resume (or several combined), +1 for a very long one, and +1 once if you add more than 3 pictures. You see the exact price before you click.
- Editing is free — change any word, reorder or remove sections, switch colors, any time.
- Hosting is free. Free accounts show a small "Get your free portfolio page at aidmycv.com" banner at the top of the page. With a monthly plan, or credits left from a credit pack you bought, there's no banner; if the plan ends or the credits run out, the banner comes back — your page stays online.
Tips
- Add your link to your LinkedIn Featured section, your resume header and your email signature.
- Use the Anything to emphasize? box to point the AI at the roles you want, e.g. "remote product manager roles".
- Wrap a phrase in **double asterisks** in the editor to make it bold.
- Changing your web address breaks the old link — update it anywhere you've shared it.
Common questions
Will the AI make things up?
No. It uses only what is in your resume(s) and your note — it never invents employers, dates, numbers, degrees or skills.
Can I take my portfolio down?
Yes. Click Unpublish in the portfolio builder and the page goes offline right away. Publish it again whenever you like.
Is my phone number shown?
Only if you turn it on. Your email shows as an "Email me" button, and the resume download is off unless you choose a resume.
