How it works
- Add your resume. Upload a Word or PDF file — or build one with our AI resume builder.
- Add the job. Pick it from My Jobs, paste the job link, or paste the description.
- Choose a tone and length and, if you like, anything you want mentioned — a referral, a move, a career change.
- Edit and download. Change any word right on the page, pick a design that matches your resume, then download Word or save as PDF.
What makes a cover letter work
- It's about the job. The best letters connect two or three of your real achievements to the employer's top requirements.
- It's specific. Concrete results ("cut onboarding time 30%") beat adjectives ("hard-working, detail-oriented").
- It's short. Three or four paragraphs that a recruiter can read in under a minute.
- It sounds human. No "To whom it may concern", no buzzword soup — the AI is told to avoid both.
Frequently asked questions
Does the AI make things up?
No. It writes only from what is in your resume (and anything you add in the optional note). It won't invent employers, dates, numbers, degrees or skills — it chooses the experience that best matches the job and explains why you fit.
What do I need?
A resume saved in your account (upload a Word or PDF file, or build one with AI) and the job: pick one from My Jobs, paste the job link, or paste the description. Even just a job title works.
How much does it cost?
Writing a letter uses 1 credit (long resumes use 2–3). Editing, switching designs, downloading the Word file and printing or saving as PDF are free. New accounts get 5 free credits.
Can I edit the letter?
Yes — click anywhere on the letter to change the wording. Changes save automatically, and the Word file is fully editable too.
