AI resume builder

Don't have a resume? Build one with AI.

Choose a template, enter your details in plain words, and our AI writes a polished, ATS-friendly resume — worded for the job you want. You'll get a Word file you can edit, tailor and send.

Step 1

Choose a template

All three are single-column and ATS-friendly (applicant tracking systems can read every line). You can switch templates for free after your resume is built.

Adjust text sizes

Open the Preview to see the effect. You can change sizes, template, photo and skills layout after your resume is built — that's free.

Step 2

Contact information

Profile photo (optional)

Shown in the top-left corner of your resume. Use a clear, front-facing photo of just you.

Tip: photos are common on resumes in much of Europe, Asia and Latin America, but in the US, Canada and the UK most employers prefer resumes without one — leave it off when applying there.

Recruiters only need your city and state — never put your full street address on a resume.

Step 3

Professional summary (optional)

In 2–3 sentences, describe your professional background, core strengths and the type of role you're pursuing — we'll refine the language. Leave it blank and the AI will write one from your skills, experience and education.

Step 4

Core competencies & technical skills (optional)

List your technical skills, tools, software and professional strengths, separated by commas. Leave it blank and we'll identify relevant skills from your work history — and from the target job, if you add one in step 7.

Step 5

Professional experience

Add each position, most recent first. In Responsibilities & achievements, list what you did and — wherever you can — the measurable results: numbers, percentages, money saved, time reduced, people trained (e.g. "cut order processing time from 3 days to 1"). Plain notes are fine; the AI turns them into professional bullet points and never invents results. Use the toolbar to make words bold or italic, start bullet lists, or add a bold sub-title line (for example a project or client name) — your formatting is kept.

Step 6

Education, certifications & licenses

Include degrees, diplomas, trade programs and coursework in progress. Add professional certifications and licenses below.

Step 7

Target position (optional, recommended)

Tell us the job you're applying for and the AI will use that employer's language and keywords — wherever they honestly match your experience.
