How it works

  1. Add the extension to Chrome or Edge, and pin it (puzzle-piece icon → pin) so the button is always there.
  2. Connect your account: click the button and choose Connect my AidMyCV account — sign in and press Connect. Once per browser.
  3. Open any job posting and click the AidMyCV button (or press Alt+Shift+S). Check the details and click Save to My Jobs.
  4. Tailor your resume to the job, run the AI review or write a cover letter — right from the extension.

Frequently asked questions

Which browsers does it work in?

Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge on computers (Windows, Mac, Linux and Chromebooks). Other Chromium browsers such as Brave and Opera can install it from the Chrome Web Store too.

Which job sites does it work on?

Any page with a job posting: LinkedIn, Indeed, Glassdoor, ZipRecruiter, company career pages and job boards like Greenhouse, Lever and Workday. If a page is unusual, select the job description text and click the button — it saves exactly what you selected.

Does it cost anything?

The extension and saving jobs are free. Tailoring your resume, the AI review and cover letters use credits on AidMyCV as usual.

What can the extension see?

Only the page you're on, and only at the moment you click its button. It reads the job posting text and sends it to your AidMyCV account. It doesn't track your browsing, read other tabs, or see your passwords.

How do I disconnect it?

Click Disconnect at the bottom of the extension, or remove the browser from "Browser extension" on your Dashboard. Removing the extension from your browser works too.
