How it works
- Upload your resume — Word or PDF — and, if you like, the job you're applying for.
- AI reviews every section: your headline, summary, skills and each bullet under each job. Where something could be stronger, it writes the new version and tells you why.
- You decide. Step through the sections and accept, edit or keep the original for each suggestion — or accept everything in one click. The preview updates as you go.
- Download your finished resume in a clean, ATS-friendly design. It's saved in My Resumes, ready to tailor again or turn into a cover letter.
What the AI looks for
- Results, not duties. "Responsible for the newsletter" becomes "Wrote and sent the monthly newsletter to 18,000 subscribers".
- The job's keywords — added only where your experience really supports them.
- A summary and headline that fit the role you're applying for.
- Tight, scannable bullets with strong verbs and consistent tense.
Frequently asked questions
How is this different from other resume checkers?
Most checkers give you a list of advice and leave the rewriting to you. The AI resume review does the rewriting: it proposes the exact new wording for each part of your resume, explains why, and you simply accept, edit or keep the original. At the end you get a finished resume, ready to send.
Will the AI make things up?
No. It only rewords and reorganizes what is already in your resume. It never invents employers, dates, degrees, numbers or skills — and if a suggestion ever includes a number that isn't in your resume, we flag it so you can check it.
Do I need a job description?
No, but it helps. With a job, the review tailors your resume to that posting's keywords and shows how your job match improves as you accept changes. Without one, it makes your resume stronger for the kind of role it targets.
What does it cost?
A review uses 2 credits (3–4 for long resumes) and is refunded automatically if it fails. Accepting changes, switching designs and downloading are free. New accounts get 5 free credits.
What file do I get?
A Word (.docx) file in one of our ATS-friendly designs — Modern, Classic or Executive — saved in My Resumes. You can open it in Word or Google Docs, or save it as a PDF.
